Parking and driving in Ravello
Parking is one of the hardest parts of a Ravello stay. The hilltop centre is a limited-traffic zone (ZTL), and public parking is scarce and priced accordingly in high season. Villa Mansi includes free private parking on site, which removes the daily search for a space and the cost of a public garage. If you arrive by car, this is a practical advantage that most hotels and B&Bs in the centre cannot offer.
The coastal road (SS163) and the road up to Ravello are narrow and can be slow in summer. Many guests drive to the villa, park once, and then use ferries, buses, taxis or walking for day trips rather than moving the car each day. Check the driving guide and the transport guide before you travel.
Self-catering suites, not a hotel room
Villa Mansi has three independent sea-view suites. Each one has a queen bedroom, a living room with a sofa bed, a fully equipped kitchen, two smart TVs, air conditioning and high-speed Starlink Wi-Fi. Because every suite is self-catering, you can shop at local markets, cook when you prefer and keep your own schedule — there is no shared breakfast room and no fixed meal times. Access, steps and getting around
Villa Mansi sits below Ravello's hilltop centre, on the cliffside between Ravello, Atrani and Amalfi. Reaching the villa involves approximately 100 steps, so pack light and tell us in advance if you have heavy luggage or mobility needs — we can advise on the easiest arrival. This setting is the reason the views are so open and the surroundings so quiet, but it does mean the location is not step-free.
From this area you can walk down to Atrani and Amalfi along historic stepped paths — a scenic but steep descent of many steps, with the return climb being strenuous, so plan to come back by bus or taxi if you prefer.
