- Free to embed — no licence fee, no account.
- Easy setup — copy one line of HTML; no coding.
- Mobile friendly — works in narrow sidebars and on phones.
- Customizable — area, layers, language, theme, height.
- Centrally maintained — the data lives on villamansi.it, so improvements appear in your embed automatically; you never update a PDF again.
- Transparent sources — official-source references and a visible, optional attribution link you fully control.
A note on honesty: the bus timetable widget is not available to embed yet. The planner now runs on the official SITA Sud timetable, and we will open the embed once the reuse terms for that timetable are confirmed. We never present unofficial times as official, and we never inject hidden links or scripts into your site.
How to install (any site)
- Open the interactive map and use its configurator (or copy the printable map image code).
- Choose area, layers, language, theme and size; preview it.
- Click Copy HTML and paste it into your page.
These are general steps for common platforms; exact menus vary by version and plan, and some hosted plans restrict custom HTML. We don't publish official plugins — the widget is a standard iframe.
Attribution & linking policy
Attribution is a plain, visible text link shown outside the iframe (for example, “Bus planner by Villa Mansi”). It is optional and under your control: keep it, turn it off in the configurator, or mark it rel="nofollow" or rel="sponsored" to match your policy. We never require a follow backlink, never use commercial-keyword anchors, and never inject undisclosed links or scripts into your page. An editorial link, if you choose to add one, should be your voluntary decision.
